World Champion Tyson Fury Loses His Title

 
Tyson Fury has been stripped of his IBF world heavyweight title, Mirror reports.
Last month in Dusseldorf Fury won Wladimir Klitschko.
Klitschko had not been beaten since 2004 and his second reign as champion included 19 successful defences.
 Fury won the fight 115-112, 115-112, 116-111 based on scores on the judges’ scorecards. As the result he took Klitschko’s four belts of WBA, IBF and WBO champion.
However, last week Klitschko confirmed that he had opted to exercise his right to a rematch.
The source reports that the IBF have now removed Fury as their champion after he failed to fight his mandatory challenger.
“Fury had been urged to fight Vyacheslav Glazkov, with calls for purse bids made just two days after the original bout. But after Klitschko announced he would return, it was confirmed that Fury would lose the crown with Glazkov fighting for the vacant title against Chris Martin,” it says.
