Barcelona stars dominate the UEFA Team of the Year after winning a historic treble and five trophies in total in 2015.
In the starting line-up released by UEFA on Friday, January 8, Barcelona players Lionel Messi, Neymar, Dani Alves, Gerard Pique and Andres Iniesta are all included in the team.

These players helped the Catalan club to win the La Liga, Copa del Rey, Champions League European Super Cup and Club World Cup.

There is however no place for Luis Suarez in the UEFA Team year despite the success of his partnership with Messi and Neymar.
The starting line-up as voted for by users of the UEFA official website has Real Madrid forward Cristiano Ronaldo who had his best individual year, scoring an amazing 54 goals in 52 appearances for his club side in 2015.
This iis Ronaldo's ninth consecutive year in the team and his tenth appearance in total.
He however failed to win any trophy with Real Madrid but his goals kept the three times Ballon d'Or winner in the team.

Sergio Ramos and James Rodriguez are the two other Real Madrid players in the team.

Bayern Munich were represented by Manuel Neuer and David Alaba while Juventus midfielder Paul Pogba is the only Serie A player in the team.
