A group of American businessmen are set to invest £100m in Premier League side, Crystal Palace.
The business
men led by Josh Harris and David Blitzer, have agreed with Palace chairman, Steve Parish to buy 70% of the club.
Parish will retaining
an equal shareholding of 18% alongside Harris and Blitzer and will
continue to run the club on a day to day basis.
The Americans will invest a further £50m on expanding and improving Selhurst Park and improving the playing squad.
Harris
and Blitzer are not new to running a sporting venture as they are
owners of the basketball side Philadelphia 76ers and the ice hockey’s
New Jersey Devils all in the United States of America.
