The Super Falcons of Nigeria have qualified for the 2016 Africa Women's Cup of Nations holding in Cameroon, by beating Senegal 2-0 in a return fixture.
Both team had an earlier clash in Senegal that ended as a 1-1 draw. Yesterday's win made it a 3-1 aggregate win for the Falcons.
Super Falcons forward, Rita Chikwelu, who plays for Swedish based club, UmeƄ IK, opened the scoring at the 36th minute, before Osarenoma Igbinovia, added the second a minute into second half.
The Nigerian team are the reigning champions of the competition.
Yesterday's win made it their 10th AWCON qualification since it was introduced in 1998.
They will now focus their efforts on preparing well so as to ensure that they have a good outing in Cameroon.
