The inaugural dinner of the Christian Designers’ Hub grand black tie dinner took place at Hotel The Moorehouse in Ikoyi, Lagos, on the 20th of March, 2016. The networking event was filled with the best of menswear designers. Check it out!
It was a night of style, glamour as a selection of talented Christian Designers gathered for some quality networking with fellow associates.
Some of the fashion brands and personalities at the classy event included, Femi
James Johnson, Taryor Gabriels, Richard Wales, Segun Moat, Effecci,
Dehinde Giwa, Pro7, Rhobes Couture, Dewberry, Femy Toys, Wadada Couture,
singer/actor, Femi Deolu Amusan and a number of other talented designers.
The designers were
perfectly dressed the part, as they were stylishly clad in their
respective dapper and design creations, which could easily impress the
average fashion enthusiast. As the dress code was black tie, the
designers came out in their best looks from old Hollywood glam styles to
distinguished tuxedo numbers.
According to the host, Creative director of premium fashion brand, Femi James Johnson,
“the platform was created for Christian Designers coming together to
network and inspire one another, address common challenges regarding
their craft, the industry and Christian faith.’
He also explained that the platform is a way of reaching out to their community with the gospel of Jesus Christ as Christian designers with the purpose of positively making a change. The event was expertly anchored by Segun Dangote, who got everyone relaxed and laughing as they wined and dined on tasty buffet meals.
