A popular South African On-Air-Personality recently caused a stir on social media after pulling off a public proposal to her lesbian partner.
Ingrid MaPhefo Mashigo had uploaded on her Facebook page photos of her proposal to her partner Tshepo Maleka with a caption which read "I said Yes!!!
Her happiness didn't go down well with some users and got a major backlash from those who had seen the photos.

the OAP also received death threats from South Africans who were
appalled by her photos. She has since taken down her social media page
down.
