Sergio Aguero hit a brace to help Manchester City to draw away at West Ham.
West Ham started brightly and just seconds into the game Kouyate picked up the ball in midfield race past Yaya Toure before crossing for Enner Valencia to score.
Seven minutes later, City were level through Aguero who an exquisite pass from Toure before being tripped by Carl Jenkinson for a penalty.
The Argentine picked himself up to dispatch the spot kick.
In the second half, Fabian Delph hit a post on 55 minutes before the Hammers took the lead in the 56th minute.
Valencia collected a trow-in before muscling in front of Nicolas Otamendi to finish beyond Joe Hart.
City introduced Kelechi Iheanacho whose 80th minute pass was deflected by Aaron Creswell into the path of Aguero, for the striker to finish from close range.
