The Executive Secretary of the Kano state Primary health care management board, Dr Nasir Muhammad has
stated that the state government plans on upgrading its facilities and
has proposed
to spend over N500 million which will cut across the 44
local governments.
Nasir
said this during the defense of the states fiscal budget in presence of
the state's house of assembly. He said that this administration will
embark on awareness campaigns to prevent and protect indigenes from
communicable and non communicable diseases.
He further explained that the campaign was part of measures to ensure healthy and productive environment in the state.
