In Jigawa Governor Badaru retires 14 Permanent Secretaries

Governor Muhammad Badaru of Jigawa on Thursday approved the retirement of 14 Permanent Secretaries in the state's public service.

This is contained in a press statement signed by the Head of Civil Service, Alhaji Inuwa Tahir, in Dutse.

The statement

did not give any reason for the development, but added that the retirement was "with immediate effect''.

The statement quoted the governor as thanking the officials for their contributions during their service years.
