Opunabo Inko-Tariah,the ex-Special Adviser on Media and Publicity to Governor Nyesom Wike, has dumped his former boss to join the All Progressives Congress, APC.
According
to a
report by Punch Newspaper, Inko-Tariah publicly expressed his
support for the APC governorship candidate in the 2015 general
elections, Dakuku Peterside.
Inko-Tariah
further noted that he resigned his portfolio as the governor's media
aide when he realised Gov. Wike cared less about his health when he was
in grave danger.
The former SA to the governor
also expressed his gratitude to the Minister of Transport, Rotimi
Amaechi adding that the ex-governor came to his aide when his boss
abandoned him.
He further noted that though he had
criticised Amaechi in the past, it was reinvigorating to note that the
same Amaechi called to sympathise with him.
“It was surprising that a man I censured, His Excellency, Rt. Hon. Rotimi Chibuike Amaechi,
CON, the Hon. Minister of Transport, was the same person who showed
unsolicited love and care," Inko-Tariah said in a statement.
