How to Change Default Browser According to Data Connection

 
You know that Android is one of the best mobile operating system which has more than billion active users from all over the world and Google Play is there to help those users by providing tons of apps, games, movies and eBooks. Most of the time you don’t have to spend a cent when sometime you may have to pay a few couple
of dollars to buy a brilliant application.
Android has almost all web browsers i.e. Opera Mini, Opera Mobile, Google Chrome, Chrome Beta new testing purpose, Firefox and Firefox Beta and more others. Earlier we covered an article about the comparison between Opera Mini and Mozilla Firefox where we have told you all the pros and cons of them.
If you have already used both, then I don’t have to say anything else about the memory what they take to display webpage correctly. This is obvious that Firefox takes a lot of memory compared with Opera Mini. Google Chrome is also same as Firefox when you can save some bandwidth by enabling Data Compression in Chrome Beta for Android.

Anyway, that is a different story but it has link with the core topic of this article. When you are using 3G or 4G or even 2G, you have to buy a package to use internet on your phone (Each circle has different price though). Most of the carriers do not provide unlimited data package when some do. So, at this situation, you have to do something to save memory.
If you are on Wi-Fi, then it is Ok to use either Google Chrome or Firefox to get better result – just like PC. But we do the opposite by mistake. What do we do? We use opera Mini when we are on Wi-Fi and a browser like Google Chrome when we are on limited data package. Hence, we face different problems.
But today, I will solve this problem almost instantly by introducing a small Android app which is known as Browser Toggle. This is free – lightweight – easy to use. This is the only app what you need.

Just select your browser that you want to open on mobile data connection and Wi-Fi connection respectively.
That’s all! You have almost done. In the above snap, you can find that I have chosen Opera Mini for mobile data connection and Google Chrome for Wi-Fi. So, whenever I switch my phone from Wi-Fi to mobile data connection, Opera Mini will be open automatically.
